Card made out of an envelope
This card was made out of an ordinary card envelope.... using a crimper for the bottom part. It has a little tag invite inside. Quite inexpensive to make and would be great for invitations.
The Easy Peasy Bow maker.
These little gadgets are great for those who find making bows difficult. Just think you can make as many bows the same size as you like for that special project. Just move the pegs to make smaller or larger bows. Instructions come with it. Selling for $9.50 if you are interested. email to Dunoon2@bigpond.com

More Birthday cards.
I am getting a few card ready for workshops and have found I have some great Stampin' Up stamps that would suit birthday cards for my family too. So it is a case of 'killing 2 birds with the one stone' so to say. I particularly love the little Kimono Kids ( Little Japanese girl stamp.)... so versitile. I colored them using the Blender pens and ink, and the Stampin Write pens. Just love the colors you can achieve with them. I am going to design some new cards for up coming workshops so if you would like to attend one of these just let me know and I will put your name on the list. Also if you would like to host a workshop you will be in line for some fabulous Stampin Up products as a thank you gift. A great way to get the product & tools to create some inspiring gifts for your family and friends. Nothing like being told just how clever you are.

JULY BIRTHDAYS.
Well July is certainly birthday month in our house. My late Mum and Dads were on the 5th and 6th of July, Daughter the 8th and Grandson on the 10th....Perhaps I should have said 'One week in July' is birthday week in our family. August also has its own family thing too.. My husband and Son's Birthday are on the same day too.
I have made cards for my daughter and grandson for their birthdays and forgot to take a photo before I wrote in them so please forgive me . As I said in the last blog that I liked the shape of that particular card but wanted to try a different technique that I hadn't done for a while. Embossing on embossing. I put cardstock through the Big shot with an embossing folder then with the brayer went over the top of the 'bumps' with Versa Mark and then silver embossing powder....I found a lovely angel on an oval and though I would use that. Pink , Silver and Black go well together and make quite an elegant card. Grandsons card is to fit in with the theme of the party....Pirates!!....As I didn't have a Pirate stamp I used a picture of a pirate ship , wrapping paper for the pirate and a photo of the little man himself. Must buy some pirate and more teenage stamps on my next order to Stampin' Up.The inside of the card I have featured balloons spelling his name, 3 year olds just love to see their names . I used alphabet stamps and circle punches to achieve this look. Well off for a couple of weeks visiting Grandchildren, and when I come home it is full swing into Stampin' Up workshops and I have a month of teaching at Chat and Craft.....Anyone interested in either????? contact me and I will let you know when and where they are. Don't forget if you would like to see our Catalogue or have a few friends for a Stampin good time where you get to make and take home a card or something that we have made ...give me a call.

Just love this shaped card.
I enjoyed making this shaped card. I have already started designing the embellishments for another. I made this one for a dear friend (Also a Florist but still has her shop) who is home now after a week in Hospital. Hence the Flower, pretty theme. I love cards that have that 'Wow Factor' either in the shape or the embellishements. Being a Florist by trade I also understand the Principles and Elements of Design which helps a lot when I have my designing hat on.

Baby Cards... using the same stamp.
One of these cards I have made for a very special little girl....our little grandaughter Mathilda (Tilly) born on the 13th of May. Making a card for her prompted me to think perhaps my next workshop could be on baby cards. I have a couple of friends who have just had a little one or about to. Method in my madness there.
I have made 3 different cards using the same theme , or rather the stamp. The jump suits are on a Jumbo wheel stamp which I have embossed with gold, colored and cut out. I have then mounted them on the cards with dimensionals to lift them. 3 different shaped and colored cards were fun to make. I am about to expand the collection with some more ideas using this stamp. I thought it was sweet without being too flowery for the little boys but still girly enough for the bubby girls. I also enhanced the envelopes to suit each too. Hope you enjoy them.
