With Christmas being such a busy family time, I like to organise my Christmas cards early. I have my list , complete with the address and post code etc on my computer. All I have left to do is to make my personalized cards. Making your own you can put your very special love and thoughts into them. They don't always have to be the 'Run of the Mill' Style. I have a few thoughts for the ones that will go to my family and friends who deserve something that little bit special .
I will show you couple that I have started already. Some will be simple and some will be more ornate, suiting the personality of the recipients.
So friends it is time to get out your bibs and bobs and start creating, You all know what Christmas looks like so put your own touch to it. Write in them, address them as you make them and cross them off your list, so simple.Your family and friends will really appreciate your efforts.

Card and Envelope
I made this card for friends who are going overseas. I used the big note die cut for the message inside. Stamps used are from the Hostess set Asian Aristry , the Sheep is made from Scalloped Circle punch for the body. Head is part of narrow oval ,the feet part of the Scalloped circle and the ears are the wings of the new bird punch.

First Workshop done and dusted.
Sunday afternoon at our Nene Valley Shack saw ladies around 2 tables making book marks and cards. I am sure the ladies were very proud of their achievements and enjoyed their very first Stampin' Up! workshop.
I was a little nervous, being my very first one, but I am sure the teaching confidence will return to me in a little while. It is now 2 years since I retired from my Florist Shop and it doesn't take long for the 'conversing with a group of people' confidence to go into hiding. I am sure with a couple of workshops behind me all will be renewed.

My first Workshops
Well the day has finally arrived , with lovely new craft room for my creative juices to flow in, I have now arranged not one but 2 workshops this week. I am wondering really if I have bitten off more than I can chew with the first one. I invited just over the amount that I thought I could handle for my first one but everyone is coming and some bringing a friend too. It really should be a fun afternoon. I am hosting the first one at our beach house and have everything prepared. Wish me luck. If I can work out how to put a photo on this blog I will be able to show you my small but very functional craft room.
